What To Bring

All participants who will be trekking (youth, ma's pas, trek support, adult leaders) are responsible for obtaining and brining their own required items .  All participants will be given a 5-gallon bucket and duffel bag (at the July 28th event), in which to bring their entire gear for the trip.  All of your items must fit in the provided bucket and duffel bag.  No other backpacks, boxes, or luggage will be allowed.  Packed buckets and duffel bags will be dropped off at the Stake Center on Tuesday August 7th, 6:00 - 7:00 pm.

The 5-gallon buckets will be placed in the handcarts and accompany the trekkers on the trail.  Items in the duffel bags will be kept at camp and transported by Stake leaders to the next camp site.  Each bucket and bag will be color coded and labeled with the youth's name and “pioneer family.”  Again, all items must fit in provided 5-gallon bucket or duffel bag.

Please appreciate we will be camping at three different camps (Martins Cove, Sage Creek, and Rock Hollow Campgrounds).  This means the stake leaders will be loading or unloading the gear for 150 people six times over the four days of our trek.  Please be understanding with the bucket and duffel bag space limiting requirements.
